We have visited many Wagamama in Milton Keynes and around the country. In this instance I thought I'd make a point of leaving a review for this branch because of the service and ambiance. You'd be surprised that not all branches follow Wagamama's formula when cooking I think. Some restaurants' meals can be quite bland and lack flavour especially at peak times. In this instance, I think someone was over zealous with the chilli. For this reason my daughter was slowly picking at her meal. I thought what a waste as Wagamama is a favourite for her. My meal was tasty. The service provided by our server Neve was lovely and on the ball. Walking by she observed that my daughter was not enjoying her meal. Neve promptly sorted tbe matter. Being a customer focused restaurant we were offered the meal to take home. I had the leftover and my goodness my mouth was on FIRE!! Poor child! Nebe being thoughtful and energetic on the day added to our eating experience as we had travelled over an hour from our usual haunts to celebrate our daughter's birthday. Besides this blip, I still will give this branch a five star. The atmosphere was lovely and not busy at the time we visited. We dined after watching a 15:50pm movie. There was ample parking available at the time we went. I would definitely recommend Wagamama Xscape.

Food was incredible!! The service was great, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Very clean inside and staff thorough with cleaning after customers have left. Have been to a few other wagamama stores but this is up there in my favourites. Great place to take the family for a meal just a shame it’s not halal but they have loads of vegetarian options. Was such a pleasant visit..

All Wagamamas I've been in have very good Japanese food. This includes this one. On top of that they show calories next to each meal, which is such an underrated thing. Love it! The staff in this particular establishment was very professional. I've enjoyed my time and would not hesitate to visit again.

All the staff, lovely as always, and food delicious as always. Came in with a list of items to order and extra things to add, was greeted by Paola who is an absolute angel! So patient, sweet, and a good laugh, even when I was apologising for being so complicated!

Went at 4pm, was fast service and polite staff! Food was amazing as well!

We have visited this wagamama location on two occasions over the past year, both of which we've had the pleasure of having Rhys as our server. He is such a joy and makes you feel so well looked after, ensuring you have everything you need at multiple points (without being overbearing). He is such a credit to this location, and a brilliant reason to head here time and time again. Everyone we have interacted at this location has been lovely, and whilst we don't know when we'll be back in Milton Keynes again, we won't forget about the kindness and warmth that Rhys brought to our dining experience (and hope he's still there when we return!)

Today I try out new stores as always. I didn't see many customers outside the door, but I saw some Japanese dishes and decided to give it a try. I didn't expect to be able to eat such delicious Japanese food in the UK at a reasonable price. The environment in the store is very clean and the service attitude of the store clerk is also very good. Maybe today I came alone at 2:30, so the clerk was happy to chat with me, but in any case, my experience so far has been very good. I hope to have more customers in the future because I don’t want this place to close down and never be able to taste it.

Alright, let’s talk about Wagamama in the Xscape Centre, Milton Keynes. Now, you might think, "Oh great, another restaurant next to a shopping mall. How exciting." But this place? Stunning. Seriously, despite its location near retail chaos, the atmosphere inside is so calm and inviting you almost forget you’re a stone’s throw away from a climbing wall and an arcade. The food is exactly what you'd expect from Wagamama—tasty and fresh, like it was made with actual care. Whether you're going for the classic chicken katsu curry, a ramen that warms you from the inside out, or something fiery like their chilli squid, it’s all fantastic. It comes out quickly, piping hot, and full of flavor. Service? Spot on. The staff are genuinely lovely—helpful, attentive, and not the kind of people who check on you every five seconds like you’re incapable of eating by yourself. They know when to show up and when to leave you to enjoy your meal in peace. And the QR code payment system? Brilliant. Scan, pay, done. It’s almost like magic, and it makes the whole experience feel even smoother and quicker. Toilets? Clean. That’s it. No complaints, no dodgy smells—just clean, modern facilities, which is rare enough to mention. Now, here’s the thing: this is the second Wagamama I’ve visited in Milton Keynes, and honestly, it has potential to be the best one. I’ll definitely be back to double-check—purely for research, of course. So yeah, if you’re anywhere near Xscape and need some food that won’t let you down, Wagamama is the place.
